Loughanleagh & Muff Heritage Trust is delighted to announce the launch of our first ever tourism brochure of our area — a  project created to embark you on a journey through time.  The brochure aims to highlight and  infom you of our rich heritage, culture, ancient legends, local landmarks and the natural beauty of our scenic walking trails.  Each page captures the essence of what makes the Loughanleagh and Muff area so unique — a place where history, nature, and community spirit come together making the Loughanleagh such a special place for both locals and visitors

Created by the ‘Trust’ with valuable input from local history and stories handed down through the generations and grant support from ‘The Department of Rural and Community Development’, it invites everyone to explore, learn and experience the magic of our landscape and ancient traditions.

Whether you’re planning a walk on one of our beautiful scenic trails, exploring the folklore of the mountain, or simply learning more about our community, the brochure offers a welcoming guide for everyone to enjoy.

Printed copies of the brochure are available now from all local tourism outlets and community centres. We invite you to pick up a copy, explore the stories within, and take the time to experience the beauty of the Loughanleagh and Muff area for yourself. Together, we continue to celebrate and preserve the natural and cultural heritage that defines our community. 

To conclude, our organisation share a deep pride  in our local heritage and special landscape and will continue in our ongoing commitment to protect and preserve it for our future generations and to create a resource for its community and visitors.
